Special Celebrations: Getting the Hall Ready

Earlier this year, my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. For the occasion, my sisters and I rented a banquet hall and planned a full-fledged evening of memories and changes to spend time with friends and other loved ones. I'm happy to say that our parents, and everyone else, had a great time. This was the first time I had ever planned something of this magnitude. It gave me new respect for professional party planners. From arranging the tables to planning the menu and using shots from lay-flat photo books as part of the decorations, it was quite a job.
